Fundraiser to Benefit Texas Wendish Heritage Scholarship Program

The Texas Wendish Heritage Society Scholarship Program Fundraiser will be held Sunday, Jan. 22, from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Wendish Museum in Serbin. This will be a drivethru only meal of grilled pork steak, a cup of bird wedding soup, Wendish noodles, green beans, corn and pickles. Tickets are available through Wednesday Jan. 18 and are $15, presale only. To reserve your ticket call (979) 366-2441 or email museum@ texaswendish.org Bags of dry Wendish noodles will also be available for purchase.

Women’s Renewal Retreat Camp Lone Star will have their annual Women’s Renewal Retreat on Feb. 3-5. The weekend is a time set aside to reflect on Christ and His Word, be in fellowship with other sisters in Christ, and spend time in His creation. FLHS Spring Raffle

The Faith Lutheran High School Spring Raffle is just around the corner. The Board of Directors is currently looking for valuable items or monetary donations to be used in the raffle. Please contact Nikki Kueck at (979) 242-2889 if you would like to donate something.

Wednesday Night Bible Study The Wednesday Night Bible Study Group began a new study on Jan. 4. This is an 11- week course that will take you through the entire Old Testament book of Judges. You are invited to come and learn more about the faithfulness of God, despite the forgetfulness of His people. You will learn from some of the more well-known judges, like Deborah, Gideon and Samson, as well as some you may not be as familiar with, such as Othniel, Ehud and Jephthah. There is no cost to join.
