Flatonia-Cistern Farm Bureau Meets

On June 20, the Flatonia-Cistern Chapter of the Fayette County Farm Bureau held its quarterly meeting.

Jo Brunner, Vice-President of the Flatonia-Cistern Local, introduced the guest speaker. Stephen Kelly, the Muldoon Volunteer Fire Department Fire Chief, discussed the history of the Muldoon Volunteer Fire Department which is the second largest VFD in Fayette County. He talked about the recent closure of Air Evac Lifeteam in Fayette County.

Stephen distributed an information card which included MVFD contact information and a Controlled Burn Checklist. He also answered questions from the members.

At the end of his very informative presentation, Jo Brunner presented Stephen with a gift card. Flatonia-Cistern Farm Bureau Vice-President, Jo Brunner, conducted the business meeting.
