Festival Hill Welcomes New Program Director
The James Dick Foundationis very pleased to announce the appointment of Iverson Eliopoulos as the new Program Director of the Round Top Festival Institute. Alan Declert, who has been our Program Director for 32 years, is retiring and will remain as an advisor to the Festival Institute.
Iverson is a cellist and conductor from Boston, Massachusetts. He is a recent graduate of the New England Conservatory with a degree in conducting. He has spent his career performing and studying orchestral and chamber music repertoire with a variety of ensembles and festivals around the country, including our very own Festival Institute.
Iverson was a young artist at Festival Hill in 2019 and returned in 2021 as an orchestra manager intern. He has a special passion for orchestra administration and has helped to run orchestras at the Boston Philharmonic, the Aspen Music Festival, and the New England Conservatory, among others. Iverson is very excited to be joining the Round Top Festival family and to be contributing to such a high quality arts program that was so informative for him in his studies. He has announced the 2024 summer Festival Institute season, which will be full of vibrant and engaging music for everyone to enjoy.
