Fayetteville Easter Egg Hunt Draws 200+ in Community Celebration

“Seeing the community come together for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt was wonderful,” shared Sue Patterson, Founder and Chief Organizing Officer. “From the local businesses to the individual volunteers, this was a major collective effort by the Fayetteville community. It was a huge success with more than 200 in attendance.

“I’m so happy that everyone enjoyed it. I also want to give a big shout-out to Mayor Mike—his continued support is what allows us to pull off such an amazing event for the kids throughout Fayette County.”

New Residents 

Please welcome Mike and Brandy Belota and daughters Scarlett and Summer to our community. The Belotas have built their forever home on Ross Prairie Church Road and are excited to be part of this wonderful town. They recently relocated from Spring.

“One of the main reasons for their move back here was the wonderful school system we have in Fayetteville and to be closer to Nanny B,” shared Brenda Belota (aka Nanny B.).

Fayetteville EDC 

The Fayetteville Economic Development Corporation (FEDC) will meet on Wednesday, Apr 8.All are all welcome to attend. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month beginning at 7 p.m.

Closed Good Friday 

The City of Fayetteville offices and the city dump will be closed on Friday, April 3, in honor of the Easter holiday.

KC BBQ 

Remember the Fayetteville/ Ellinger Knights of Columbus BBQwilltakeplaceon Easter Sunday. Order chicken, sausage and ribs sooner rather than later by calling the KC BBQ Line at (979) 249.6003. Pick up begins at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church. Cash or checks accepted.

Mobile Food Pantry 

The Central Texas Mobile Food Pantry will be at St. John on Wednesday, April 8 from 10 to 11 a.m. Walk up to the entrance and bring bags or carts for pickup.

St. Paul Lutheran 

St. Paul Lutheran holds services on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Services are recorded every week, rotating among four Shared Lutheran Ministry churches and posted on the Facebook page for the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County. Services are also featured on KTIM 89.1 Sundays at noon.

St. John the Baptist Catholic 

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville holds Mass Saturdays at 6 p.m., and Sunday’s at 10 a.m.

St. Mary Catholic Church 

St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger holds Mass on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sunday’s at 8 a.m.

Fayetteville Brethren 

Worship services at Fayetteville Brethren are held on the second, third and fourth Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. An adult Bible Study is held before the worship service from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
