Moreau Show

The show “First Time Fixer,” featuring the renovation of the Moreau family’s 1800’s farmhouse will be shown on Friday, Nov. 17 on both Max and Discovery+. The show features first-time house renovators who take their home renovation dreams into their own hands and experience the risk and reward that come with trying something new.

In 2016, the Moreaus had the farmhouse moved to their property where they’ve been making improvements. They’ve been required to stay on deadlines, check-in weekly, and embark on a robust renovation schedule. The family has tackled renovating the exterior, kitchen and living/dining space, plus the main entry for the show. Acrew from the Magnolia Network, including a producer, camera and sound technicians and assistants, came out inApril to pre-film and were back filming inAugust and September to record the final footage, and for a reveal of all the hard work. In the interim, the Moreaus filmed their progress using equipment provided to them.

“It has been an amazing experience to work together as a family while also getting to document all that’s happened in such a unique way,” stated Jamie Moreau. “We provided hours of footage which will be narrowed down into one 30-minute episode including commercials.” They plan to move in by spring break of next year.
