Fayetteville Chamber Hosting Annual Outdoor Christmas Decorating Contest

All businesses and residents located within Fayetteville city limits are invited to participate in the Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce Annual Outdoor Christmas Decorating Contest.

Judging will take place on Friday, Dec 13. First, second and third places will be awarded. For any questions, contact the chamber at countrychristmas@ greaterfayettevillechamber. org or call/text (979) 378-2800.

Grant Funds 

By the end of the year, the City of Fayetteville will receive funds from the $3.4 million Infrastructure Rehabilitation Grant for water and sewage improvements.

Joe’s Place 

Mike and Annie are still rockin’ at Joe’s every Friday night at 8 p.m.

First Birthday 

Hallie Blake Gaytan, daughter of Karley and Tim Gaytan of Fayetteville, celebrated her first birthday last Saturday, Nov 17. She had the best day at Build-a-Bear with her big sister, Macie, helping her out.

St. Paul Lutheran 

St. Paul Lutheran holds services on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Services are recorded every week, rotating among four Shared Lutheran Ministry churches and posted on the Facebook page for the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County. Services are also featured on KTIM 89.1 Sundays at noon.

St. John the Baptist Catholic St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville holds Mass Saturdays at 6 p.m., and Sunday’s at 10 a.m.

St. Mary, Ellinger 

St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger holds Mass on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sunday’s at 8 a.m.

Fayetteville Brethren 

Worship services at Fayetteville Brethren are held on the second, third and fourth Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. An adult Bible Study is held before the worship service from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
