The new exhibit at ARTS featuring Stephen Schultz can be experienced until February 25. “This show is my creative nod to our new hometown. We have a home in Fayetteville, and I wanted to paint scenes for my neighbors to know and enjoy. One of those is of the old oak tree in the new park. When you look at it, it’s almost as if the tree is dancing,” stated Schultz. “I find it reflective and relaxing. Karen brought to my attention that this park was donated to Fayetteville and we both readily agreed that the proceeds of the painting will be donated directly to the park.” The painting, Century Oak, is oil and linen and framed in a dark, rich wood with gold accents. It can be viewed at ARTS. Discover more about Schultz by going to stephenschultzfineart. com.

The courthouse in Round Top is featuring 15 local artists this Saturday, Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The show is sponsored by artist Linda O’Neal, owner of the White House on the Hill. Fayetteville’s Mike Clann participates in weekly classes at the venue and will be exhibiting a few of his works. “I’m excited to be showing my work alongside my fellow artists,” said Clann, who has been painting for 55 years. “I enjoy it because it keeps my brain active. For the last 15 years, I’ve worked with acrylics, oils and pastels. When I paint, my goal is to invite the viewer to arrive at their own interpretation of what it means to them. The ambiguous nature of my work is more meaningful to me.” Blood Drive

The Fayetteville/Ellinger Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a blood drive this Saturday, Jan. 21. The mobile unit will be at the Old Fire Station from 8 a.m. until 12 noon. If you want to schedule your donation, call Jonathan Noska at (979) 966-9569 or go online to commitforlife.org. Drop-ins are always welcome. Food Pantry

The Central Texas Mobile Food Pantry will be at the Waldeck Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. this Saturday, Jan. 21. Volunteers will distribute the food from tables as the clients walk-thru the line making their selections. Everyone should bring their own sturdy, reusable bags and boxes. A few wagons will be furnished by the food pantry, but clients should bring their own if possible. Fire Calls
