Fayette County Record Goes on a Literary Tour of England

La Grange High School graduates Ella Wick and Savannah Bretz recently went on a self-guided literary tour in England led by LHS English teacher Laurie Stork (who they both had as a teacher in high school). The trip was made possible by an anonymous donor. They saw two Shakespeare plays at The Globe Theater (left), Big Ben (center), and the Roman Baths in Bath, England (right) where they also toured the Jane Austen Centre. They also went to Canterbury Cathedral, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey among other adventures. They took The Record along for all the fun.
