Fayette County Go Texan Awards Money to Area Seniors

The Fayette County Area Go Texan Committee will be awarding scholarships to deserving seniors from the following high schools.

Fayetteville: Logan Fritsch and Makenzie Poncik.

Flatonia: Leandra Aguillon, Brady Fike, Laurel Betak, Aiden Miksch, Camden Bosl, Tadan Alvarado, Abegayle Drabek, Payton Guzman, and Katelyn Croyle.

La Grange: Kylee Kelley, Austin Nedbolek, Rachel Matocha, Zachary Janda, Elle Sodulak, Dulce Merlos, Caleb Chovanec, Raygen Pyle.

Round Top: Kannyn Goehring.

Schulenburg: Grant Kubala, Tamra Otto, Harley Zapalac, and Blaine Zapalac.

Weimar: Clayton Zinnati.

Monies for the scholarships were raised from the shrimp boil held the last Saturday in January and steak dinner and dance held the fourth Saturday in September.

This year’s steak dinner will be held Sept. 23 in the Praha Hall.
