Fayette County Couple’s Land Management Efforts Applauded

Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine featured Mark and Cheryl Brown of Ammannsville in an article entitled “Stewards of Nature” in its August/September issue. The Browns, who practice regenerative land use on their ranch, recently won the Leopold Conservation Award in partnership with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Lone Star Land Stewards for restoring their native prairie.
