Fayette County 4-H Competes in Livestock Judging Contest
Numerous Fayette County 4-H members competed in the District 11 4-H Livestock Judging Contest in College Station on Saturday, April 23.
The Fayette County Senior Team placed 3rd overall. Team members consisted of Cooper Mau, Kaylee Hensley, Harper Mau, and Kaelan Freytag. Individually Cooper was 5th and Kaylee was 10th. They will advance to Texas 4-H Roundup this summer. Judging as individuals were Railey Nieto and Haley Schramek.
The Fayette County Intermediate Team placed 5th overall. Team members consisted of Logan Poncik, Reisy Janca, Rheagan Karisch, and Avery Nelius. Judging as an individual was Brealey Nieto.
The Fayette County Junior Team Green placed 2nd overall. Team members consisted of Kaisley Janecka, Addison Berckenhoff, Paige Carruthers, and Crocket Guenther. The Fayette County Junior White Team placed 4th overall. Team members consisted of Quinn Arnett, Alexis Berckenhoff, and Abraham McBride. The Fayette County Junior Maroon Team placed 6th overall. Team members consisted of Sawyer Mau, Adalyn Carrales, and Julia Melton. Individually, Sawyer was 2nd, Kaisley was 4th, Addison was 5th, and Quinn was 7th.
