Fayette Community Foundation Unveils Health Fund Grant
Fayette Community Foundation (FCF) is proud to announce the launch of the Rural Community Health Fund (RCHF), a groundbreaking initiative aimed at health and wellness and delivery of philanthropic funds on a grassroots level. The RCHF program, detailed on the FCF’s website accessible at https:// www.faycofoundation.com/ rchf], promises to address critical gaps in health disparities or social determinants of health and provide sustainable solutions to rural communities in need.
In partnership with St. David’s Foundation, the Rural Community Health Fund embodies Fayette Community Foundation’s commitment to fostering healthier communities through innovative approaches and collaborative partnerships. The initiative’s core objectives include uplifting vulnerable and marginalized rural communities through capacity building and community empowerment. The Rural Community Health Fund initiative seeks to break down barriers to healthcare access by providing financial assistance, infrastructure support, and collaborative solutions to underserved communities.
Furthermore, FCF is pleased to announce the availability of grants through the Rural Community Health Fund initiative, opening March 1. Funding for the initial grant cycle is designed to invest in the people, places, and initiatives servicing Bastrop, Caldwell, East Williamson, and Hays County. Led by an Advisory Council of noted and trusted community members representing each of the four counties, these grants are designed to support community- based organizations, resident-led community networks, and grassroots initiatives that align with RCHF’s mission and objectives. Grants from the RCHF initiative will range from $1,000 to $25,000 and prioritize supporting projects that address disparities in healthcare access and outcomes.
