Fayette 4-H Members Compete In Victoria at Spring Spectacular

Fayette County 4-H members participated in the District 11 4-H Spring Spectacular Contest on April 4 and 5 in Victoria. Events included Public Speaking, Educational Presentations, Quiz Bowl, Fashion Show, 4-H has Talent, and Consumer Decision Making.

Rheagan Karisch and Logan Poncik competed in the Senior Public Speaking Contest. Crockett Guenther, Sawyer Mau, and Julia Melton competed in the Intermediate Public Speaking Contest. Crockett placed 1st place overall. Rilan Karisch, Adalyn Carrales, and Joesph Carrales competed in the Junior Public Speaking Contest. Rilan placed 3rd overall.

Several 4-Hers competed in the Educational Presentations contest. In the Senior Beef Category, Rheagan Karisch and Tori Newton placed 3rd and will advance to Texas 4-H Roundup this June. Cooper Mau competed in the Senior Health Division.

Sarita Kinsey competed in the Fashion Show and placed 1st in the Intermediate Construction Special Interest Category.

Sarita Kinsey and Kylee Hoffmann competed in the 4-H Talent Show Intermediate Choreography Routine. Sarita placed 3rd overall.

Tori Newton, Logan Poncik, Kaylee Hensley, and Rheagan Karisch competed in the Senior Livestock Quiz Bowl Contest.

Crockett Guenther, Adalyn Carrales, Joseph Carrales, Kaisley Janecka, Abraham McBride, Tatum Fritsch, Tate Fritsch, and Sawyer Mau competed in the Junior Livestock Quiz Bowl Contest.

The Consumer Decision Making Junior Team placed 2nd overall. Team members consisted of, Langley Murphy, Adalyn Emmel, Clay Hoffmann, and Emery Fricke. Individually, Langley was 5th high point individual.

The Consumer Decision Making Intermediate Team placed 4th overall. Team members consisted of Kaden Raabe, Kandon Kaspar, Connor Fricke, and Sawyer Mau. Judging as an individual was Makenna Emmel. Individually, Makenna was 2nd high point and Kaden was 9th high point.

The Consumer Decision Making Senior Team placed 5th overall. Team members consisted of Logan Poncik, Addison Faske, Cooper Mau, and Elena Supak. Judging as an individual was Madeline Willrich.
