The Fayetteville Farmer’s Market will be held this Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon on the square. Join in supporting all the hard-working vendors every second Saturday of the month. For more information, text Sydni Alberthal at (979) 250-3353.

Community Gathering 

All residents are invited to join the City of Fayetteville in a community gathering on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 5:30 p.m. in the city offices for an informative discussion on stray and feral cats within the city limits. Denise Winters, Director for Pecan Creek Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, and Executive Director Teresa Stanley-Brown of the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter will be providing input. Coffee Club 

The Fayetteville Coffee Club that meets at Orsaks took an early construction walkthrough of the old Knesek building.

Picking Park 

A talented group of bluegrass musicians are singin’ and pickin’ at Picking Park on the square this Saturday. They get together the second Saturday of each month from January through November. The music flows from 2 p.m. until everyone’s ready to hang it up.

Public Rosary Rally 

There will be a Public Square Rosary Rally this Saturday at noon on the Fayetteville courthouse square. This Public Square Rosary, sponsored by America Needs Fatima, will be one of over 22,500 rallies taking place all across the country that day.

They ask that you join them to offer reparation for the sins and offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and to fervently pray for the conversion of the United States.

ARTS Exhibit 

You can only catch ARTS latest exhibition, “Wilderness of Mirrors,” till Saturday. The solo exhibit features the amazing works of 17-year-old artist and Fayetteville resident Phoenix Kooper. Check out phoenixkooper.com.

Fall Fashion Event 

Don’t miss the fall fashion event of the season presented by ARTS next Thursday, Oct 17. Tickets for Runway 159 can be purchased on the website: https://www.artsforruraltexas. org/. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show begins at 6 p.m. at the SPJST Hall at 507 E Main St. in Fayetteville.

KC BBQ Sunday 

The monthly Fayetteville/ Ellinger KC BBQ is this Sunday. Chickens are $12, sausage is $6 and a rack of ribs is $20. To reserve an order, call the KC hotline at (979) 2496003. Orders may be picked up at St. John in Fayetteville between 10:30 a.m. - noon.

Courthouse Music Series 

Next Tuesday, the Fayetteville Courthouse Music Series will feature Austin musician David Pulkingham on the square from 6-8 p.m.

St. John the Baptist Catholic 

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville holds Mass Saturdays at 6 p.m., and Sunday’s at 10 a.m.

St. Mary Catholic Church 

St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger holds Mass on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sunday’s at 8 a.m.

Fayetteville Brethren 

Worship services at Fayetteville Brethren are held on the second, third and fourth Saturday of every month at 10 a.m.

An adult Bible Study is held before the worship service from 9 to 9:45 a.m.

St. Paul Lutheran Church St. Paul Lutheran holds services on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Services are recorded every week, rotating among four Shared Lutheran Ministry churches and posted on the Facebook page for the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County.

Services are also featured on KTIM 89.1 Sundays at noon.
