Family In Need Gets Help From Volunteers

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek would like to show appreciation to all of the volunteers who recently worked to help a local family in need.

On Dec. 15, volunteers, first responders, county officials, and state officials worked to improve the living situation of a family in the Precinct 4 area of Fayette County.

The team assisted with moving and cleaning, and provided essential needs to their fellow county residents.As further needs arose, the team worked diligently to meet the needs necessary.

Special appreciation is given to: FCSO Investigator-Marc Bennett, Fayette County OEM- Craig Moreau, La Grange Volunteer Fire Department, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Crosspoint Community Church, Texas Baptist Men, Joe Rogers Trucking, and Gardenia E. JanssenAnimal Shelter-Teresa Brown.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is fortunate to have Investigator Marc Bennett as part of the team. He has proven time and time again that he goes above and beyond his normal job duties to ensure that families in Fayette County are safe. The sheriff’s office was honored to be a part of this collaboration of efforts to help this family in a time of need.
