Faith Lutheran Registering for Fall

Faith Lutheran School Registration for the 20232024 school year for Faith Lutheran High School is underway. Camp Lone StarAnnual Picnic Camp Lone Star will have their annual picnic on Sunday, July 30. The day will include the new dining hall dedication at 9:45 a.m., music starting at 10:30, an outdoor worship service at 11 a.m. led by Rev. John Karlee (Lead Missionary and Campus Pastor at University Lutheran Chapel in College Station). A barbecue meal will be held at noon, and the benefit auction will be from 1-3 p.m. The swimming pool will also be open from 1-2:30 p.m. for those wanting to enjoy the cool water. Each year Camp Lone Star serves over 11,000 individuals through their retreats, outdoor education, and of course their summer camp ministry. This annual event is a great opportunity to show support for Camp Lone Star and help it to continue the ministry into the future.

Holy Cross Lutheran Church Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.

Pastor Beck is leading a new midweek Bible Study on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross in the family room. In this study you will learn how to read your Bible….how to really read it. What do we believe about the Bible? How can we understand it? All are welcome.

The Ladies Stamp Program at Holy Cross in Warda is coming to an end and they ask that anyone having stamps to turn in would do so by Oct. 1 so they can get them sent in to the Texas District Stamp Program. They can be brought to the church office, dropped off in the designated box in the hallway, or mail to Lisa Gay PO Box 141 Warda, TX. 78960.

Faith Lutheran High School Summer office hours for July are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Faith Lutheran High School Summer Youth Camps are back. FLHS is excited to offer a variety of camps for youth this summer. Ages are for grades NEXT school year.
