Faith Lutheran Raising Funds to Purchase Bus
Faith Lutheran High School is raising funds to purchase a bus to help transport students to extracurricular activities and events. They have already made significant progress and ask that you consider a donation to help them finish raising the needed funds to move forward with this project. .
Upcoming VBS
Area Vacation Bible School is just around the corner at Holy Cross in Warda: June 17-19 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. each evening. “The Great Escape” is the theme this year. A light meal will be provided at 5:30 p.m. Ages are for 4 years old through 5th grade. Register at: www.holycrosswarda. com.
Community Baseball
Serbin will play Weimar at Weimar on June 16 at 3 p.m.
Farm Bureau Family Night The Warda Farm Bureau family night will be held on Friday, June 21 at the church picnic grounds in Warda. Social hour begins at 6 p.m. followed by the program and meal at 7 p.m.
TWHS Scholarship
The Texas Wendish Heritage Society Scholarship Program is now open. This scholarship program is available to students of Wendish heritage. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school for Fall 2024 semester. Applications are available online at texaswendish.org and must be submitted digitally by 5 p.m. Friday, July 12. Bluff Creek Ranch

Game Day at Holy Cross
The next Game Day at Holy Cross will be held Thursday, June 20 from noon-2 p.m. A light lunch is served, there is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Games of bingo, dominoes and board games are offered.
Holy Cross Services
Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.
The midweek morning Bible Study at Holy Cross in Warda is Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.

Summer Camp at FLHS Summer Camps are back. Ages for the following camps are for grades next school year. Availability is limited: June 17-19, STEM Camp Grades K-6, $50; June-24-26, Art Camp Grades K-6, $50; July 1-2, Archery Grades 4-8, $20 Golf Tournament Postponed The Golf Tournament was postponed due to weather.
