Faith Lutheran High School Christmas Concert Set Dec. 12

Faith Lutheran High School will present a Christmas Concert, “Faith at Christmas,” on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. at FLHS. The program will include a collection of choir pieces, handbell pieces, hymns, scripture readings and more. Refreshments will be served following the program.

This event will also be live streamed on their Facebook page.

Holy Cross Game Day The next monthly Game Day hosted by Holy Cross in Warda will be held on Thursday, Dec. 21 from noon-2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Lunch will be served and games of dominoes, cards, scrabble etc. are available.

Thanksgiving at Tejas

Tejas Camp and Retreat Center is hosting Thanksgiving at Tejas on Nov. 24-26. Guests can book a room and enjoy activities such as night zip lining, axe throwing, crate stacking, rock wall climbing, kid zone, bazooka ball, crafts, dinner, tree lighting and fireworks.

Bluff Creek Ranch

Christmas at Tejas

Christmas at Tejas will be Dec. 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22 and will be an overnight stay with the wonderful Christmas tradition of family activities including bounce houses, zip lines, fireworks and more. They are no longer offering evening dates/tickets. All Christmas events are overnight stays and include supper and breakfast.

Condolences

Sympathy to Edward Buscha and family on the death of Christine Buscha on Nov. 5, her funeral was held at Holy Corss in Warda on Friday, Nov. 10.

Holy Cross Services

Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.

Thanksgiving Service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 6:30 p.m.

The archery team at Faith has been preparing for competitions scheduled for November through January. Basketball practice has begun and the girls are excited to bring a new cheerleading program to FLHS.
