Faith Lutheran High Graduation Slated May 24

Faith Lutheran High School will have their fifth graduation class commencement ceremony on Saturday May 24 at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Church. Congratulations to Valedictorian Donovan Phillips and Salutatorian Ashton Grimm.

Local Vacation Bible School Mark your calendar for area Vacation Bible School. Holy Cross in Warda will have VBS June 16-18 from 5:30-8 p.m. St. Paul in Serbin will have VBS June 9-13 from 8:15-11:15 a.m.

Game Day at Holy Cross The next Game Day at Holy Cross in Warda will be held Thursday May 15 from noon-2 p.m. A light lunch is served, there is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Games of bingo and dominoes are offered.

Community League Baseball Serbin will play at Shiner on May 18.

Holy Cross Services 

Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bi-

ble Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.

Wednesday Night Bible Study 

The Wednesday Night Bible study group meets each week at 6:30 p.m. in the family room at Holy Cross Church. For more information about this study, contact Cyndy Zoch at cyndy.zoch@gmail.com.

Sewing Circle 

The Sewing Circle meets each Thursday from 9 a.m.noon in the old parish hall at Holy Cross in Warda. (This is around the back side of the church.) No experience is necessary and you do not have to be a church member to join this fun group. Contact the church office at (979) 242-3333 if you have any questions.

Wednesday Bible Study The Wednesday Morning Bible Study Group meets at 11:30 a.m. They are studying the book of Galatians.

FLHS Golf Tournament Faith Lutheran High School will hold their Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Friday May 30 at Frisch Auf Country Club in La Grange. Shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. For more information on entering a fourperson team or to sign up as a sponsor call (979) 242-2889.

FLHS Summer Camps 

Summer Camps are back at FLHS. Grades are for next year: May 27-29: Basketball-Grades K-8; June 2-3: Archery-Grades 4-8; June 9-11: Volleyball-Grades 3-8; June 16-18: STEM Camp-Grades K-6; June 23-25: Art Camp-Grades K-6.
