Faison House to Host Summer Concert Featuring Natalie Su
The Faison House is excited to announce its upcoming summer concert on Sunday, June 4, at the N.W. Faison House, 822 S. Jefferson in La Grange from 2 to 3 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
“We are pleased to be able to feature this talented young woman,” said Arnold Romberg, President of the Faison Preservation Society. “She’ll bring life to our historic Knabe grand square piano. Additionally, she will play the cello.”
Ms. Su is a Junior in Stephen F. Austin High School in Sugar Land. She began to play piano at age five and is currently studying with Mr. John Weems, who has established himself as one of the outstanding teachers in the nation. She thoroughly enjoys music, as piano has become a main part of her life. Her accomplishments include winning first place at Texas Music Teachers Association Performance Contest years 20202022, winning Grand Prize at Blinn College Young Pianists Competition in the year 2023, placing first at Houston Forum Young Artist Piano Competition in 2022, as well as being a Houston Young Artists’ Performer. She also enjoys playing cello and has been selected to the competitive Texas Music Educators Association All-State Orchestras for three consecutive years. In her free time, she loves to read books, listen to music, exercise, and hang out with her friends.
