Ellinger City-Wide Garage Sale Aug. 3

The Ellinger City Wide Garage Sale will be on Saturday, Aug. 3 starting at 8 a.m. Call or text Miranda Schlabach at (979) 966-8612 to reserve a spot under the pavilion on the chamber grounds or to have your home address advertised on the map. Maps will be available at the chamber at 104 W. Colorado Sky Street.

Shared Lutheran Ministry St. Paul Lutheran in Fayetteville will have their 130th anniversary celebration with Bishop Mike and Pastor Jan preaching at 10:30 a.m. A catered meal of baked chicken and all the trimmings will be served after the service. Free will donation requested.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Recycle Trailer 

The recycle trailer will be on the chamber grounds on Wednesday, July 31. Bring your recyclables such as glass, cardboards, newspapers, etc. between 1-4 p.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at Grose-10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Hermann Sons 

The 2024-2025 dance program is now open at a discounted fee for members. Starting this year, non-members can also participate. It is available to the youth ranging from age 3-17 as of Sept. 1, 2024. There are 18 schools to choose from and registration can be found at hermannsonlife. org. Members are charged the $35 a month. Non-members will pay the same fee along with a $200 registration fee. The deadline is Oct. 1.
