Ellinger Chamber Chicken Noodle Soup Lunch Oct. 30

The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring a Chicken Noodle Soup Lunch and Bake Sale on Sunday, Oct. 30. This will be a drive thru event only, and serving gets underway at 10:30 a.m. The cost is $10 a quart or $35 a gallon. Homemade chicken salad sandwiches and delicious deserts will also be available.

Ellinger C of C Bingo The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring a Bingo event on Saturday, Oct. 29. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and the games get underway at 6 p.m. There will be fifteen regular games with a $100 payout for each. Additionally there will be two $500 Jackpot games. Hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, delicious desserts, and cold refreshments will also be served. A costume contest will be held in addition to the games. Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume and enjoy the fun. SLM Jount Worship Service The Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County will be having a joint worship on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran in Fayetteville. Additionally a joint worship has been scheduled for Christmas Day at 8:30 a.m. at St. John’s Warrenton and on Jan. 1 at 10 a.m. at St. John Rutersville.

Fayetteville Brethren Church Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

SLM Parking The Fall Antique Fair is upon us once again. The Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County has scheduled parking and bake sale dates. St. John Ellinger will be parking cars on Oct. 17 and 18; St. Paul Fayetteville on Oct. 24 and 25; and Warrenton all other dates. Rutersville WELCA will sponsor a bake sale on Oct. 15, Ellinger Oct. 20 and 21; Fayetteville Oct. 22 and 23; and Warrenton Oct. 27, 28, and 29. Volunteers are always welcomed to help man the food booth at the Warrenton Church. If interested contact Megan Buro.
