Ellinger Chamber Bingo Set Aug. 10

The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will have a Bingo event on Saturday, Aug. 10 at the chamber hall.

Shared Lutheran Ministry Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

LGISD Classes to Resume LGISD classes will start on Thursday, Aug. 15.

Hermann Sons Life 

The 2024-2025 dance program is now open at a discounted fee for members. Starting this year, non-members can also participate. It is available to the youth ranging from age 3-17 as of Sept. 1, 2024. There are 18 schools to choose from and registration can be found at hermannsonlife.org.

Members are charged the $35 a month. Non-members will pay the same fee along with a $200 registration fee. Deadline is Oct. 1 to sign up.
