Easter Egg Hunt at Camp Lost Pines

As a new comer to the Warda area, Elizabeth Dettling Moreno Tolman took a while to get acclimated to her new life as Mrs. Randy Tolman, but she has taken the bull by the horns and has initiated an area wide Easter egg hunt at Camp Lost Pines, 6047 Hwy. 77 in Warda, on Saturday, April 16, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Tolman’s husband, Randy, is the manager for Camp Lost Pines and Elizabeth saw a perfect opportunity to get involved with the local communities by hosting an Easter celebration at the camp grounds. She shared her vision with the Fayette County Record and the Warda News Correspondent, Lisa Gay, and they helped her spread the word. Before long, folks were contacting Tolman so they could participate in sponsorship. She was also busy contacting schools to notify students and making one-on-one contact with businesses to join in.

Tolman has hundreds of plastic eggs that were donated, but hopes to fill them with candy and prizes. One of her partners from San Antonio will be bringing outdoor games, a balloon arch, and a background for family Easter photos.
