Newcomers
Kelsi and Matthew Machacek, with their children Benjamin and Juda, moved here last year from San Antonio. The family lives just outside the center of town. “We really enjoy our new community. Fayetteville is just a small, wonderful town. We went out for Halloween and it was so heartwarming to see everyone out with the kids enjoying the holiday. It seems like a very good place to raise our children.”
Matthew is currently an EMT for Fayette County EMS and is completing his paramedic certification in the next month. A veteran musician, Kelsi plays the piano, the ukulele, the harp and solo fingerstyle guitar. “My dad is a professional guitarist. We came from a very musical family.” She began playing when she was 14.
