Donation to Animal Shelter

Monday, Sept. 19 at the Fayette County Opry in La Grange, Jim and Norma Bowman sponsored a silent auction to benefi t the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter. The item auctioned was an original painting of Hank Williams. That evening’s entertainment was by Wyatt Aleman, who performed a tribute to Hank Williams. Mark Lehmann won the painting. The money will be donated to the Gardenia Janssen animal shelter of La Grange.

Theresa Brown, Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter Director, received and accpeted the donation from Norma Bowman.
