    Cowboy Church Plans Tent Revival

The Stray Gathering Cowboy Church has been very busy getting their new property cleaned up, and fenced. They are preparing for an Old-Fashioned Tent Revival on April 18. They have a full line up for the service including: Dwyane Williams, Christina Scott, Calep Lewis, and Jackie Cox. Also, on the agenda is to have the chuckwagon on site from 4 p.m. on serving food and beverages. Make plans now to attend this exciting service out on the new property off FM 609 and Valenta Road.

Coming up on Saturday, March 21 the men are planning on having a Men’s Breakfast. Area men are invited to come out join the SG2C men in a hearty cowboy breakfast. There will be a devotional and some great fellowship to be had among some strong Christian men.

Coming up on March 29 plans are to have Sunday Vittles after the morning service. SG2C has Sunday morning services every Sunday starting at 9:30 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts then the morning worship begins at 10 a.m. The regular service will be followed by a great sharing of a meal in the form of Sunday Vittles. Everyone is invited to bring their favorite dish to share and maybe show off some culinary skills. This is a great chance to check out the church if you have not had a chance to and are looking to check it out. This would be the perfect time to come enjoy the worship time and enjoy getting to know the others in the community over a meal.

Rain Report

The biggest news of the week is Muldoon finally was blessed with some muchneeded rain. Wednesday saw thunderstorms come blowing through with lighting, wind and rain. Reports were of around an inch to an inch and a half of rain around the Muldoon area. There was also some lightning with several lightning strikes hitting trees. Later in the afternoon another shower came through with the strong winds and rain that brought some hail to parts of the area.

After the Wednesday rains, Thursday morning had a brisk reach-start that had everyone reaching for their jackets again. The winds have been strong and added to the chill in the air.

New Grandson

Dana and Darrell Kulak are once again proud grandparents with the arrival of their second grandson, Calvin Andrew Kulak on March 7. Calvin is the son of Elton and Miko Kulak and was welcomed home by his big brother Henry. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 13 ozs. and measured 20 in. long. Calvin’s the great grandson of Devon Boehnke.

Out and About

Bobby Ivy took off to Las Vegas for the Construction Exposition. The ConExpo only happens every three years and has venders from all over the world with equipment that is the latest and greatest in the construction industry. It was an educational trip with Bobby learning all kinds of information with the heavy equipment.

Our grandson, Ira Ivy got to come out and spend some time in the country and enjoy doing some country things. Ira got Grandpa James to take him out in the tractor and the skid steer. When we took him home to mom, Jenny Clair, we got the chance to visit with our newest grandson, Jaxon. It was really sweet getting some baby snuggles after a day of wrestling a three-year-old.

Neighborhood Watch

As spring is in full bloom, so are the allergies along with spring colds. Be sure and check on your neighbors to see if they are doing ok. As the flowers and trees are blooming, so are the allergies and some are hitting community members hard. Plus it is good to just stop and talk with our neighbors and strengthen the community bonds.
