Cowboy Church Erects Prayer Cross in Muldoon

Stray Gathering Cowboy Church has put up a beautiful new Prayer Cross in front of the church, just behind the park. Everyone who would like may come by, write a prayer request on a rock and leave it at the foot of the cross to turn it over to God. Anyone who wishes to know more is invited to attend a service any Sunday morning beginning at 9:30 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts followed by worship service at 10 a.m.

Brylee Johnson, a member of the SG2C is a contestant for Miss Rodeo America. This is so exciting to have a local girl competing. If you see her around be sure and give her some encouragement.

Make plans now to attend the Christmas Eve services at the Stray Gathering Cowboy Church. There will be regular worship services at 10 a.m. on Christmas Eve morning and then at 7 p.m. SG2C will be holding a candlelight service to honor the birth of Jesus Christ, the real reason for the season. It is the perfect opportunity to attend a service and meet some of those who worship there.

Christmas Time

It is definitely Christmas time in Muldoon. Just come out and take a drive around and you will see lots of beautiful lights dotting the country side. The sunsets have been exceptionally beautiful as of late and lots of people have been enjoying them. Take time to stop and enjoy this time of year.

Out And About

Nancie and Billy Blair enjoyed a visit from their daughter, Teresa Holland over the weekend. Teresa brought along her son, Spencer, for the visit. They got a chance to visit and celebrate Spencer’s 21. They also enjoyed having granddaughter Valarie and great granddaughter Cadence come in and help celebrate Spencer’s birthday, too. They grilled hamburgers and enjoyed the great weather.

Jennifer and Clay Rightmer hosted their family Thanksgiving and it was a time with all of Jennifer’s siblings coming in for the big Thanksgiving meal. Jennifer’s brothers Jeff Howard and Wade Howard and his wife Karen and daughter Georgia came in from Austin. Jennifer’s sister Julie Zavala and her kids Kaylin and Zack came in from the Georgetown area making it a wonderful Howard family gathering. Also in for the holiday were the Rightmer kids: Lane Rightmer from Waco and Reed Rightmer of Houston.

Alayna and Dave Kidd finished out their Muldoon stay and headed to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to compete in the barrel races there. They then will be headed for Vegas and the All In Barrel Race and the Big Time Barrel Race. It was a great to have Alayna and Dave, along with all their horses and dogs come in for a visit here with James and I.

School Out

As the Christmas season is upon us, and just a reminder to remember that the kiddos have a school holiday and that means they will be out and about at different times. Slow down and pay attention while you are out doing holiday things.
