Community Gathering to Discuss Stray Cats in Fayetteville

All residents are invited to join the City of Fayetteville in a community gathering to address the issue of stray and feral cats within the city limits. Denise Winters, Director for Pecan Creek Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, will be speaking. All graduates from Fayetteville High School and St. John’s school are joining in the Fayetteville All Schools Reunion on Saturday. This event is hosted by the class of 1974. For the occasion, the Fayetteville Museum will be open from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Local Color Art Exhibit You’re invited to enjoy the inspiration of Fayetteville resident and photographer Emil Knodell at the Red and White Gallery this Saturday from 3 6 p.m.

Beauty can be found in the simplicity of small towns, and Knodell’s photography exhibit “Local Color” perfectly captures the classic authenticity of Fayetteville and surrounding areas. A few of his pieces can be viewed on the gallery website: www.redandwhitegalleryonline. com.

Central Texas Food Bank 

The Central Texas Mobile Food Pantry will be at the Waldeck Lutheran Church from 10 - 11 a.m. this Saturday. Volunteers will distribute food as clients walk through the line. Everyone needs to bring their own sturdy, clean reusable bags, boxes or plastic tubs. Wagons will be furnished by the food pantry.

St. Paul Lutheran Church 

St. Paul Lutheran holds services on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Services are recorded every week, rotating among four Shared Lutheran Ministry churches and posted on the Facebook page for the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County. Services are also featured on KTIM 89.1 Sundays at noon.

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville holds Mass Saturdays at 6 p.m., and Sunday’s at 10 a.m.

St. Mary Catholic Church St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger holds Mass on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sunday’s at 8 a.m.

Fayetteville Brethren 

Worship services at Fayetteville Brethren are held on the second, third and fourth Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. An adult Bible Study is held before the worship service from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
