Columbus KCs Donate to Hostyn Church

A $5,000 donation was recently deposited into the Matching Funds Campaign account at Fayette Savings Bank for the benefit of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn rebuilding fund by the Columbus KC Council 2971. The money came from proceeds raised at their March 26 pork steak drive through dinner. Pictured (from left) are Steve Walling, KC Financial Secretary; Rev. Donations over $5,000 can be dedicated to the “matching side” of the campaign where they are used to match regular donations from the public. Donations may be made at any of the four Fayette Savings Bank locations in La Grange, Flatonia, Schulenburg or Weimar. The Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church was destroyed by an explosion and fire the morning of June 9, 2022.
