Colorado Valley Quilt Guild Hosts The Zen Quilter, Carrie Wikander

Colorado Valley Quilt Guild hosted the Zen Quilter, Carrie Wikander, from Fredericksburg. Carrie’s inspiration comes from everything she sees around her. Her trunk showed each fabulous idea she had in constructing a quilt which came through in her “upbeat, funky art with a modern flair” style. She has two quilts in the Upcoming International Quilt Show in November. Carrie’s “Graffiti” quilt is one of them.

The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl Street, Room A East, La Grange. Guild meetings begin at 6 p.m. on even months and 10 a.m. on odd months.
