Colorado Landing Burglary Investigated
La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Feb. 4-11.
Animal Complaint
On Feb. 8, Animal Control Officer Dean Ahlschlager picked up a dog in the 200 block of E. Crockett.
Accident
On Feb. 6, Officer Brett Meinardus responded to the 1800 block of Hwy. 159 for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.
On Feb. 7, Officer Thomas Keeney responded to the 1700 block of E. State Hwy. 71 bypass for an auto accident.
Burglary
On Feb. 9, Officer Kevin Currington was dispatched to the Colorado Landing RV Park for burglary of a vehicle.
On Feb.10, Officer John Wostarek was dispatched to the 100 block of Northwest Circle regarding burglary of a vehicle.
Criminal Mischief
On Feb. 9, Meinardus responded to the 800 block of S.
Vail for a truck that was vandalized at school.
Citizen Assist
On Feb. 9, Currington spoke with a subject in the 1600 block of Jefferson.
Civil Matter
On Feb. 6, Wostarek responded to the 400 block of E.
Travis for a civil matter.
Driving While Intoxicated On Feb. 5, Wostarek arrested a subject for driving while intoxicated in the 600 block of W. Travis On Feb. 10, Wostarek arrested a subject in the 900 block of S. Jefferson for driving while intoxicated.
Disturbance
On Feb. 7, Officer Steven Haynie was dispatched to the 400 block of. 3rd Alley regarding a disturbance.
Fraud
On Feb. 6, Investigator Troy Stevens responded to the 100 block of W. Colorado regarding customers’ getting scammed.
Juveniles
On Feb. 5, Officer Jeffrey Archerd spoke with a caller regarding a juvenile complaint.
On Feb. 6, Currington checked the area of Cindy Lane for a juvenile complainant looking for a golf cart.
Loud Music/People
On Feb. 4, Keeney responded to the 400 block of E.
Roitsch for loud music.
On Feb. 6, Wostarek was dispatched to the 200 block of S. Ellinger regarding people yelling.
