Friday, Oct. 4 and Monday, Oct. 14 are student holidays. The RT-C Parents Club is hosting a Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 19. Kids costume parade and contest, free carnival activities, raffle, cake walk, gourmet hamburger plate with Eckermann beef, chili dogs and desserts.

Fall Antique & Design Show 

Several locations have opted to open earlier this year – so be on the lookout for that. A few of the happenings include: McLaren’s Back Barn Sale beginning Oct. 3; “Palm Royale Soiree” at the Brooke Drake Showroom, Barn M at Blue Hills on Sunday, Oct. 6; ; a Fall Show Preview Gala benefiting Susan G Komen at the Compound on Wednesday, Oct. 9; “Three Sons Pop-Up at KEMO SABE on Thursday, Oct. 10; Marburger Farm Antique Show opening day on Oct. 15; a Luau at Ellis Motel on Friday, Oct. 18; Late Night Shopping at Henkel Square Market Friday, Oct. 18. Bonus for all the Christmas- lovers out there, a Paul Michael Holiday Preview Party is going on this Saturday, Sept. 28. Enjoy early access to Holiday House shopping before the store opens to the public. Tickets are $75 and include access, champagne, and homemade Christmas cookies and cupcakes. Proceeds from this event benefit the Round Top Family Library.

Round Top Rifle Hall 

The Monday Night Hamburger Social takes place the first, second, and third Monday of each month beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Save the date for Round Top Rifle Hall’s annual Oktobierfest on Saturday, Oct. 26. More information to come. Visit roundtoprifle.com for more information on these or any future events.

Round Top Family Library The library has tons of events held throughout the week for all ages including sewing class, STEM classes, yoga, Preschool story time, Junior Master Gardener, Chess class, Taekwondo, dance and more. These classes are free but do require advance registration.

A bread making workshop with Cathy Gau will be held Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m.1 p.m. The library will provide all supplies and everyone will take home a loaf of bread. This class is for ages 18 and up and is limited to 10 people, so sign up quickly.

Church News 

The Western Cluster Fall Gathering will be Saturday, Sept. 28 at St. John’s in Warrenton.

Mass at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Warrenton are held the first Tuesday of the month at 8 a.m. for the intentions left on the altar. More information can be found at stjohnfayetteville.com/st-martin.

Mark you calendar for Bethlehem Lutheran Church’s annual church picnic on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 4-7 p.m.
