The City of Fayetteville has installed a portable speed detection radar that will gather data to be submitted to the sheriff’s department. The radar will rotate to various locations throughout the city.

Discussions are taking place with TxDOT about potentially reducing the city speed limits.

City Council adopted two resolutions. Resolution 202504-21-01 authorizes certification of a Cultural Arts District for the City of Fayetteville and Resolution 2025-04-21-03 addresses multiple civil rights policies.

Spa Experience

Expect a spa-like experience to be coming to the square soon. Sown With Seed shop owners Morgan Zator and Todd Campbell are repurposing shipping containers that will offer natural, healthy, healing amenities directly behind the shop. Each shipping container will offer a different experience.

“The house behind our building wasn’t salvageable. We’ve received a lot of thanks for replacing it. We’re creating a unique space that’s an extension of Sown With Seed,” stated Zator. “In the shop, we offer botanicals, organic products and herbal classes that introduce healing properties derived from a variety of teas and oils. Check out sownwithseed on Instagram. More in the next issue.
