A Memorial Day Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 30 at 9 a.m. at the Carmine City Park.

For any veteran with Carmine connection who are buried in Fayette or Washington Counties, to be added to the roster, call (979) 278-3070.

Carmine Lions Club

The Carmine Lions Club will celebrate their 50th Anniversary on Saturday, April 30 at the Carmine Volunteer Fire Department Annex, 201 Centennial ST, Carmine, TX 78932. It begins at 6 p.m. A Barbeque Pork Steak meal will be catered by Gary. Guest Speaker will be Lion Mike Morgan. To reserve your $12.50 meal, call or text Marie at (979) 451-0141.

RT-C School News

Round Top-Carmine High School Baseball team plays at Snook April 26 at 6:30 p.m. They host Snook April 29 at 4:30.

Congratulations to the RT-C girls track and field team. They placed 1st in the District 29-A meet held at Fayetteville on April 12 with a total of 190 points. They moved on to Area competition on April 20 in Fayetteville.

The Regional Track Meet is April 29-30 at Challenger Stadium in League City.

The letters and forms are now available on the rtcisd website concerning transfer students. If you are unable to access the online forms, please call (979) 249-3200 and a hard copy will be provided.

New-student Enrollment Packet is also currently on the rtcisd website for print out.

RT-C High School students made Easter cards for nursing home residents on April 12.

Carmine Volunteer Fire Department regular meeting is April 28 at 7 p.m.

MLLC News

Saturday worship with Holy Communion is at 6 p.m.

Sunday School is Sunday at 9 a.m.

Worship with Holy Communion observing the Third Sunday of Easter is at 10 a.m. The service will also be on the mllccarmine.com website. The Rev. David Tinker is the pastor.

Recycle Trailer

The Recycling trailer is at the Carmine Hall on Thursdays from noon until 4 p.m.

The trailer is in Ledbetter from 8:30 to 11 a.m., also on Thursdays, behind the Ledbetter Fireman’s Hall. Carmine Chamber
