Chicken Stew Fundraiser Sunday in Fayetteville

Come out and support the St. John and St. Mary Catholic Youth Ministry on Sunday, Nov. 3 at their annual Chicken Stew Fundraiser. The drivethru serving line begins at 4:30 p.m. at St. John’s Parish Hall. Cost is $10 per quart. Only pre-filled containers will be served.

Election Day 

On Election Day, the polls at the City offices in Fayetteville will be open from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. David Stall will serve as the presiding election judge andAmy Nini will serve as the alternate presiding judge. Spaghetti Dinner 

Contribute to FISD scholarships by ordering a spaghetti dinner provided by the Fayetteville Lions Club at their annual Spaghetti Supper on Election Day. Drive through or walk in and pick up at the old firehouse on the square from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased from any Fayetteville Lions Club member or at Orsak’s, Fayetteville Bank, Fayetteville Store, Prohibition Liquor, or Circle C General Store for $15. Enjoy a generous portion of spaghetti with meat sauce, salad and a dinner roll.

American Legion Breakfast 

The American Legion Post Raffle and breakfast is coming up Saturday, Nov 9. The holiday auction will raise funds to replace and upgrade their electrical wiring. Look for lots of handmade military throw quilts, holiday gift baskets and more. A quilt raffle will follow the auction. Address is 4019 FM 1457 in Shelby. Christmas Tree Decoration 

It’s that time again. Join the fun and enter a Christmas tree to be featured in a festive holiday display in the old fire station. St. Paul Lutheran 

St. Paul Lutheran holds services on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Services are recorded every week, rotating among four Shared Lutheran Ministry churches and posted on the Facebook page for the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County. Services are also featured on KTIM 89.1 Sundays at noon.

St. John the Baptist Catholic St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville holds Mass Saturdays at 6 p.m., and Sunday’s at 10 a.m.

St. Mary Catholic Church St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellinger holds Mass on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sunday’s at 8 a.m.

Fayetteville Brethren 

Worship services at Fayetteville Brethren are held on the second, third and fourth Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. An adult Bible Study is held before the worship service from 9 - 9:45 a.m.
