Cherry Leads Singing Men of South Texas Concert
Martin Cherry Jr. lead the Singing Men of South Texas in a wonderful concert on Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Flatonia Baptist Church. Martin has been working hard, driving some long miles meeting up with these talented men from all over the South Texas region to meld these voices into a harmonious chorus. If you missed this concert, you missed some wonderful harmonizing and blending of voices in a great evening of song.

They are still accepting donations for the silent auction if anyone would like to donate something to help them raise for upcoming events and functions, youth events and camps. Part of the fundraising is the Heifer Raffle. All the fun of the Fall Festival will be happening on Oct. 26 from 10 a.m-4 p.m. This is a great place to bring your youngsters and the oldsters to participate in some old fashion fun.
Food will be available for $10 for adults and there is no charge for the kids, so this is a wonderful way to have loads of fun in a safe, fun atmosphere with a little bit of a competitive atmosphere. Meanwhile, it is a chance to support the local youth.

Neighborhood Watch
Muldoon is a small community and we all need to pull together and watch out for each other. If you see something odd at your neighbors’ place be sure and give them a call. It is better to check and it be nothing and not check and something bad happen.
Also check in on your elderly neighbors to make sure they are doing OK. They might need just a little bit of help or they just might need to hear from someone.
Little Lending Library Fall is here and if you need something to do the Little Lending Library is always available in front of the Muldoon Volunteer Fire Station. Drop by and check out what is available. Selection is always changing. Borrow a book or leave a book, this is just a great community asset to be taken advantage of.
