Celebrate July 4 in Round Top

The 175th Fourth of July Celebration kicks-off at 10 a.m. July 4th in Round Top. The parade will start with the firing of the cannon at 10:30 a.m. Following the parade, the Rifle Hall has barbecue, music and fun for the whole family from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Finish your day with fireworks at The Compound. Gates open at 5 p.m.

City-Wide Garage Sale 

The very first city-wide community garage sale will be June 27 and 28 starting at 8 a.m. each day. Maps are available online beginning June 20. Visit exploreroundtop.com for details.

Round Top Family Library 

Saturday, June 21 is the Acoustic Jam, beginning at 11 a.m. Enjoy yoga on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, Storytime on Wednesdays, and Mahjong and Taekwondo on Thursdays. For a full calendar of events visit ilovetoread. org.

Festival Hill 

Enjoy beautiful music each weekday at Festival Hill, as part of the 2025 Round Top Music Festival.

Master Class is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis. These performances are held weekdays at 1:30 p.m. in the Edythe Bates Old Chapel.

Monday, June 23-Susan Dubois, viola, Tueday, June 24-Baroque Performance Practice with Tomás Cotik, violin; Wednesday, June 25-Amitai Vardi, clarinet; Thursday, June 26-Kristin Wolfe Jensen, bassoon. Friday, June 27 features the Young Artist Chamber Music Groups at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28 is the All-Argentinian Chamber Music Concert at 1:30 p.m., followed by the Chamber Music Concert at 3:30 p.m., and the Texas Festival Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. in the Festival Concert Hall.

Round Top-Carmine ISD 

Strength and conditioning meet weekdays through July 15 at 8 a.m. for incoming 7-12 graders. Summer skill work for baseball and volleyball 9 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Basketball skill work is at 9 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Track is Mondays and Wednesdays 10-10:30 a.m. These camps are free.

July 16-18 is basketball camp. 1-4 grades will meet 9-10:30 a.m., 5-8 grades will meet 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and 9-12 grades will meet 1:30-4:30 p.m. Register by June 27 to receive a camp gift. The cost is $60.

July 29-31 is volleyball camp. 1-4 grades will meet 12 -1:30 p.m., 5-8 grades will meet 1:30-3:30 p.m., and 9-12 grades will meet 8-11 p.m. Register by July 18 to receive a camp gift. The cost is $60.

St. Martin’s Catholic Church 

St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Warrenton holds a monthly Mass the first Tuesday of the month at 8 a.m. The next Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1. More information can be found at stjohnfayetteville. com/st-martin.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church

St. Paul Lutheran, Shelby 

St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shelby services are at 8 a.m. Fellowship, Coffee, and Sunday School follow at 9:30 a.m. Game Day is held the first Wednesday at 2 p.m. Quilting is held the third Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.

St. John’s Lutheran Church 

St. John’s is part of the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County. They meet for Sunday Worship at 8:30 a.m.

RT Christian Fellowship 

Round Top Church meets at 8:45 a.m. for Bible Study, followed by a 10 a.m. service.

St. Cecilia’s Episcopal 

Saint Cecilia’s Episcopal Church in Round Top, meets in Haw Creek Chapel, located in Henkel Square, Sundays at 8:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
