Celebrate Easter with St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moulton will host an Easter Picnic, April 5. The Easter Picnic has been a Moulton tradition. The event will be held on Easter Sunday at the St. Joseph’s Social Center. The day begins with Mass at 10 a.m. in the church followed by the blessing of Easter baskets and an Easter Egg Hunt for the children.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m., the famous Moulton fried chicken dinner with all the trimmings will be served, $15 a plate. Plates-to-go and fried chicken-to-go will be available. Shuttle service from the church parking lot to and from the Social Center will be provided.

Activities inside the Social Center will include a cake walk and bingo. There will be a live auction beginning at 1 p.m. featuring quilts, woodcrafted and metal-crafted items, plants, antiques and more. Music will be provided from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. by Ken Brothers and from 1:30 - 5:30 p.m. by the Shiner’s 2nd Wind.

Other outdoor fun will include a Country Store, a plant walk, ball throw, and other games. Plenty of refreshments, sno cones, popcorn and sausage wraps will be on hand all afternoon.
