Celebrate Christmas in Northern Fayette Saturday

The Annual Fayetteville Country Christmas celebration will feature a Lighted Parade at 6 p.m. on Saturday evening, Dec. 10. Christmas caroling on the Square begins at 5 p.m. Above is a photo from last year’s parade. The annual Christmas at Winedale will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 from noon to 4 p.m. There will be crafts and folklife demonstrations, music and theater performances, food and beverages, and more. This event is free. Above is a theater performance at last year’s Christmas as Winedale and below are horse-drawn carriage rides at last year's event. Winedale is home to 10 nineteenth-century wooden structures, period furnishings, material culture, and an outstanding collection of Texas hand-crafted decorative arts. It was assembled by Houston philanthropist Miss Ima Hogg and then gifted to The University of Texas at Austin in 1967. The Winedale Historical Complex is located at 3738 FM2714, Round Top, TX 78954.
