Carey 6th at State UIL

For the third straight year, La Grange High School Senior Eleanor Carey competed in Literary Criticism at the State UIL Academic meet at The University of Texas at Austin. On Tuesday, May 19, Carey, left, earned a 6th place individual medal, capping a stellar career in a very difficult UIL event. Also competing at State for LHS was Freshman Carolina Lira, right, in Ready Writing. “A sincere thank you to Coach Laurie Stork for her dedicated service as the LHS UIL Academic Coordinator.
