Bugle Boy Sponsors Poster Contest

In its first ever Concert Poster Contest, The Bugle Boy collaborated with Flatonia ISD Art teacher Caitlin Demel. Thirty students ranging from 7th – 12th grades submitted posters for the upcoming Sara Hickman show March 11 at 8pm. The students researched the artist (past official State of Texas Musician) and her music. Ms. Hickman introduced the project via video and answered questions submitted by the students. The winning poster (chosen by Sara Hickman and Bugle Boy staff) was submitted by Flatonia Sophomore Zachary Ruether, who will attend the concert. This project provided students the opportunity to work with a professional musician and learn how their art can be used in a commercial setting.
