Over thirty members of the Boehnke family gathered over the weekend for the annual Boehnke family Christmas. They had family members who traveled all the way from Salt Lake City, Utah, to attend this fun and festive event.

The family members exchanged gifts and played lots of games. They are not a shy group and sometimes things got a little loud and rowdy, but it was all in good fun. They enjoyed not only visiting and catching up, but they also gathered a large portion of the family to go out on a hay ride through the countryside.

The family also feasted on some wonderful Christmas treats. No one went hungry! This wonderful time of eating and laughing lasted all weekend with many staying at Devon Boehnke, Dana and Darrell’s home and a few staying nearby to keep in the loop of family fun.

Then over at the Stray Gathering Cowboy Church they hosted the one and only Santa Claus for the evening. Santa was there so, pictures were taken and crafts were made to make the season bright. What fun it was in the beautifully decorated old church.

Then the evening was topped off by the annual Muldoon Volunteer Fire Department Christmas party. The department cook a fish fry meal with hushpuppies and coleslaw along with lots of other goodies that everyone brought along to share. It was a great way to top off the evening of fun and festivities.

There are some in the area who are ill and might need some help, so please check on your neighbor and maybe give them a call to check on them. You might be able to spread some Christmas cheer by dropping off a meal or running an errand for them.
