Bishop’s Awards Given at St. Rose

Each year the Bishop gives out awards to eighth graders in the Victoria Diocese who meet the criteria of a theology test and Christian behavior in doing service for their schools, parish and community. On Monday, May 16, the St. Rose Eighth Grade received their certificates from Bishop Cahill at an Evening Vespers prayer service and ceremony in Hallettsville. St. Rose was also in charge of the music and readings for the event. Readers were Reagan Dusek, Grace Schramek and Kenna Oliver. Music ministry was provided by teachers and students: Matt Bonner, Lindsey Schiffli, Allison Machac, Wendy Becka, Donna Kunz, Jackie Machac, Zuriel Robles, Conner Lichnovsky, and Bryn Bubela.
