Bingo Costume Contest Winners Named

Ellinger Chamber of Commerce held a costume contest at their Bingo event on Saturday. The winners of the contest were:

• Youth: Best Overall Makayden Smidovec, 1st Place - Krugher Smidovec, 2nd Place - Witten Graeter and 3rd Place - Cailee Daniel.

• Adult individual: Best Overall - Patti Parks, 1st Place - Crystal Richter, 2nd Place Pam Keilers and 3rd Place Sarah Koller.

• Couple: Best Overall Victoria Brugger-Staal and Shayleigh Staal, 1st Place Andie Polasek and Bradley Dunk, 2nd Place - Camryn Alvarado and Dawn Sedler and 3rd Place - Ramon Ortiz and Andrea Ortiz.

• Group - Best Overall: Deric and Shelly Hayek, and Shaun and Angie Bayless, 1st Place - Teresa Divin, Mollie Picket, Sherry Moore and Kim Vanek.

St. Paul Fundraiser

Support St. Paul in Fayetteville, Saturday, Nov. 11 for their annual turkey or beef stew fundraiser. Dine in or to go starting at 10:30 a.m. at the old fire station in Fayetteville. $10 a quart or $36 a gallon for turkey stew and $40 a gallon for beef stew.

Shared Lutheran Ministry

Joint worship for SLM will be held for All Saints Day, Nov. 5 in Fayetteville at St. Paul’s. A light breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. with worship at 9:30 a.m.

Sunday school will be held in Rutersville at St. John on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m.

Join St. John in Ellinger for Breakfast Church on Nov. 26. Worship will be at 8 a.m.

Ellinger will host one of the Advent services this season on Nov. 29. Service will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Brethren Church

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Face book page.

Ellinger Sewer and Water

Ellinger Sewer and Water will meet on Monday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at the fire station.

Ellinger C of C

Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the chamber dining hall at 7 p.m. All chamber and community members are invited to attend.
