Bastrop Woman to Celebrate 107th Birthday Wednesday

Bastrop is hosting a birthday party on Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. for Ruby Willard who will be turning 107 years of age. Mayor Lyle Nelson will be in attendance to read a proclamation from Gov. Greg Abbott along with being surrounded by families, friends, facility team members, and other Bastrop community members.

Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Bastrop is branded under Wellsential Health and is a part of the largest non-profit skilled nursing facility organization in Texas. The non-profit mission is to provide comprehensive support to individuals who lack opportunity and aspire to pursue a career in the healthcare industry, alleviate a severe healthcare workforce shortage, and improve the lives of seniors.
