Barrera Slams Six Homers at Cooperstown Tourney

Zaybryn Barrera of Schulenburg, 12-year-old-son of Coach Isaiah Barrera, competed with his team Houston Wildcatters in Cooperstown, New York Allstar Village this past week. He helped his team go 8-1 for the week! Zaybryn’s batting average on the week was .524 with an OPS of 1.994 hitting 6 homeruns and finishing in the top 10 for homeruns. Zaybryn pitched one game allowing only one hit with no runs scored. He played catcher, shortstop and pitcher on the week.
