ARTS Hosts Free Classes For Seniors

Arts for Rural Texas and Senior Connections are partnering together to host free art classes for all senior citizens in the area. Under the guidance of an art instructor, participants will explore various crafts, including mosaics, painting, needle felting, rock painting, and much more, with each class centered around a specific project. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own craft projects to work on during class sessions. Lunch will be provided afterwards at the Senior Connections facility 1111 Bohlmann Ave. Classes will be held at the Schulenburg ARTS Campus 1206 Lyons Ave. on Fridays from 10 a.m. -noon, beginning Jan. 5, 2024.
