St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin will have a Song Service Sunday, Dec. 22 at 8:30 a.m. Their Children’s Christmas Eve program will be Dec. 24 at 6 p.m.
Knox Scholarship Fund
The Amanda Knox Memorial Scholarship Fund will hold a BBQ pulled Pork Taco meal on Monday, Jan. 20. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased by contacting Cyndy Zoch at (979) 9663166. Only 250 tickets are available. All proceeds will be used to award a scholarship to an 8th grade student attending Faith Lutheran High School.
Tejas Camp and Retreat Center
Tejas Camp and Retreat Center had an incredible year. This summer they welcomed over 7,000 campers, (a 15% increase.) They hosted their first ever Foster Care Family Camp, awarded $40,000 in scholarships and provided opportunities for 400 volunteers to serve. These numbers represent thousands of lives impacted by the Gospel. You are invited to be a part of this mission through their Thriving Tejas initiative to support lifechanging work at Tejas. Wednesday Night Bible Study
The Wednesday Night Bible Study at Holy Cross in Warda will take a break for the Holidays and will begin the study of 2 Kings on Jan. 8. New members are always welcome. Sewing Circle
The Sewing Circle will begin meeting again in January. They meet each Thursday from 9 a.m.-noon in the old parish hall at Holy Cross in Warda. (This is around the back side of the church.) The quilts they make benefit Orphan Grain Train, Lutheran World Relief, and various Volunteer Fire Department area fundraisers. They average 80-100 quilts a year. No experience is necessary and you do not have to be a church member to join this fun group in cutting, arranging, sewing as assembling/tying quilts. Game Day at Holy Cross The next Game Day at Holy Cross in Warda will be held Thursday, Jan. 16 from noon-2 p.m. A light lunch is served, there is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Games of bingo and dominoes are offered.

Holy Cross Services
Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.
The Children’s Christmas Eve Program will be held Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. Christmas Day worship will be held Dec. 25 at 9 a.m. New Years Eve worship will be held Dec. 31 at 6:30 p.m.
The church office will be closed Dec. 24, 25, 26 and Jan. 1 for the Holidays.
