This is the last weekend of the Spring Antique show, so you can bet there are tons of things going on everywhere you look. Live music at several places including Kemo Sabe, Busted Oaks, The Stone Cellar, and all around Round Top and Warrenton.

There are several other late-night shopping events, fashion shows, and dinners throughout the duration of the show. A list of those events and tickets can be found at roundtop.com.

An Easter egg hunt will be held at Busted Oak Cellars on Easter Sunday, beginning at 3 p.m.

Round Top C of C Social The monthly Chamber Social will be Thursday, April 11 from 5-7 p.m. The location has not yet been determined visit exploreroundtop.com for more information and further details.

Classic Car Show 

Busted Oak Cellars is hosting their 1st Annual Classic Car Show. Saturday, April 13 you are invited to come out to browse several great classic cars while enjoying live music. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Round Top Family Library.

One Square Mile Music Fest Mark your calendars for the “One Square Mile Music Fest” in Round Top April 18-21. Several artists will be performing over the four-day event at various times during the day. More information and tickets can be found at onesquaremileroundtop. com.

Winedale 

Winedale’s next online talk is “Birth of a Navy: Samuel Rhoads Fisher, Founding Father of the Texas Navy.” On Tuesday, April 2, at noon, Dallam Masterson and Admiral Beth Fisher will speak about the creation of the Texas Navy and the role their ancestor, Samuel Rhoads Fisher, played in the process. Round Top Family Library 

The library has tons of wonderful opportunities for kids during the week including story time, Junior Master Gardeners, art class, jazz dance class, chess club, and Taekwondo. Contact the library for details on dates and times. Email info@ilovetoread.org or call (979) 249-2700.

RTC-ISD 

Eligible children who plan to attend Kindergarten or Prekindergarten at Round Top - Carmine Elementary for the 2024-25 school year are invited to attend the Kindergarten and Pre-k Round-Up on April 4 from 5-6 p.m. For more information, including eligibility guidelines, visit rtcisd.net.

Round Top Rifle Hall 

The Round Top Rifle Hall’s Monday Night Hamburger Socials take place the first, second, and third Mondays of each month, the Hall is open from 5:30-8 p.m. for hamburgers, “The Rooster,” hotdogs, or chili dogs, along with fries or onion rings. All proceeds benefit the continued improvement of the Round Top Rifle Association.

Festival Hill 

Festival Hill’s annual gala will be Saturday, April 14. “A Night Under the Texas Stars” will honor the iconic star emblazoned on the ceiling and throughout the stunning concert hall. Funds from this benefit will allow Festival Hill to continue bringing talented young musicians to the Round Top Music Festival. The evening includes a live and silent auction, music, a meal catered by Royer’s Café, and guests will hear from former students whose lives have been impacted by their participation in the Summer Music Festival. Camp for All 

Join Camp For All on the porch of Ellis Motel at Henkel Square on April 4 from 5-8 p.m. for a night of sipping, shopping, and supporting the Campers of Camp For All. Sip and stroll through the Henkel Square vendors and take time to learn more about the incredible mission of Camp For All by getting to know the Camp team and our local friends and family. Free tours of the campus and museums are offered on the second Saturday of every month. The RTAHS has established a docent program to support the society and they are currently seeking volunteers. They are also always collecting local family histories to help build their library. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, have some history to share, or if you would like to join RTAHS, please call (979) 249-5839. RTAHS is a 501(c)3 organization.

Church News 

Easter Sunday service will be at 7 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church outdoors (weather permitting), and at 8:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shelby.

The monthly Mass for St. Martin Catholic Church in Warrenton will be Tuesday, April 2 at 8 a.m. for the intentions left on the altar.
